Donington Historic Festival

The club will be attending this event. It is just like Silverstone Classic except without the crowds, high ticket prices and poor viewing opportunities. This year the Group C racers will be absent - replaced by the Touring cars from the mid 80s (think Sierra Cosworth, Rover Vitesses) to late 90s (Alfa, Honda, Renault, Toyota, Vauxhaul at al). For older viewers there will be lots of 60s and 70s machinery out on track too. If you find Silverstone too remote, too windswept and too crowded, try this for size. We had a beautiful spot under the trees last year.
