1. SPORTING REGULATIONS - GENERAL
1.1 The 2011 Club Alpine Renault Speed Championship is organised and administered by Club Alpine Renault
in accordance with the General Regulations of the Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association
(incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA) and these Championship
Regulations.

Competitor Eligibility:
Entrants must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of
Club Alpine Renault and in possession of a valid 2011 MSA Entrants Licence
Drivers and Entrant/Drivers must be fully paid up card holding members of Club Alpine Renault,
Over 18 years of age, be registered for the Championship and be in possession of valid
Competition NON RACE NAT B Licence, as a minimum.
Or, be a professional driver in possession of a valid Licence (featuring an E.U.flag) and medical,
issued by the ASN of a member country of the European Union.
All necessary documentation must be presented for checking at all rounds when signing-on.

There will be a £15.00 registration fee payable with completed entry forms.
There is no closing date for the Championship.
Scoring:
The Points system for scoring in all classes:
Class A1-4,B1-4,C1-4,D1-4.

Points will be rewarded after the receipt of official final results.
Competitors can count four of their rounds for the total championship points.
Resolving Ties
Ties will be resolved by considering the number of class wins, seconds or thirds by competitors.
If there is still a tie, the competitor having the earliest class win, second or third in the
championship season will be declared the winner.
Championship Points Appeal
Procedure as detailed in section C6.5 of 2011 MSA Yearbook. Where the adjudicating stewards
are as shown in Para 1.2.3 of these Sporting Regulations.

There are no event Penalties.

There are no capacity limits, no minimum weight and tyre choice is free within the
CAR championship classes but all cars must comply with the general and Technical
Regulations of the MSA.

Safety Requirements:
All cars must comply with the requirements of section S and K as appropriate to the category
of car in the MSA Yearbook 2011.
All cars must comply with the current MSA noise regulations and any special requirements
applicable to a particular event as stated in the regulations of each round.
