Paris Retromobil - large Alpine display
5th to 9th Feb 2014
5/02/2014
This year, organisers are paying tribute to French racing pilot Jean Rédélé, who is as known for his racing exploits as he is as the founder of the car brand Alpine. A dedicated exhibition space at the show will present a number of iconic Alpine models, built for the open road or for the race track.
No less than 15 Alpine vehicles produced between 1963 and 1978 will be on display at Rétromobile 2014, many on display to the public for the first time. The exhibit will also include artefacts and collector’s items illustrating the life of Jean Rédélé and his famous car brand.
Organisers have announced that the A110 Berlinette, the A110 1800 and the A310 (all driven in rally competitions) as well as the M64, A210, A211 and A220 (all of which competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours Race) will be present.
If you have not been before Retromobile is a classic car show and autojumble with a very French feel. This year will definitely be a great year to go with such a big display of Alpines. Please add a post to the one created on the Forum if you are interested in going so that we can coordinate our visit.
