Classics on the Common

I will be attending this year (in my Le Mans). For anyone who has not been before and lives within easy reach of this pretty town north of London it is well worth a look. The format is simple. 1200 classic cars of all sizes, ages, makes, colours etc (along with a couple of hundred classic bikes) turn up and park in rows - no organising clubs together (unless you arrive together) and then you just wander up and down the rows. Fantastically informal yet well supported. You arrive in the afternoon, park up, have a look round then go into town for a drink or some food before driving home. You do need to book in advance though if you are taking a car to display.
