The Rally Show at Chatsworth

5th / 6th June

5/06/2010

The 4th Rally Show at Chatsworth House takes place over the weekend of 5 & 6 June 2010. The 2010 event will feature a brand new special stage layout that will enable all competing cars to run at 30 second intervals plus there will be better locations for car club stands and general exhibitions and spectator areas have been increased considerably. All of this amounts to a far better package for competitors and visitors alike compared with previous years. Many proposals for this event are still in the development stage such as a ‘Baja Chatsworth’ to demonstrate top off-road cars, plus quads and bikes. Competitive events will now be run over the whole two days of the show. There will be four or five events, each of which will consist of a minimum of four runs each day over the new 1.2 mile Chatsworth stage. This years featured celebration will be “30 years of the Audi Quattro”, a tribute to the car which revolutionised rally car design and performance, and…. the shows organisers have already been promised the car driven by Michele Mouton on the 1984 RAC Rally, the Audi Sport Quattro. Over 40,000 visitors attended over the first three events and this is now the second biggest rally event in the UK (only the Rally G.B. is bigger!) All of this amounts to what will be a cracking weekend for rally fans and classic car clubs alike. Events and attractions are still being finalised and updates will be provided as and when these are issued CAR Club Stand & Booking Arrangements As in previous years CAR will be having a club stand at the event and all bookings have to be on a Club group booking form. Admission prices have been reduced for clubs. For up to 20 cars on a club stand these are: Weekend Ticket (Sat & Sun) £25.00 per adult. All children 15 and under Free of Charge Saturday only £17.00 per adult Sunday only £20.00 per adult Each club car will receive a commemorative rally plaque and a show guide and each participating club will be listed on The Rally Show website and in the show guide.
