Curborough Track Day

The our first 2010 Club sponsored Track Days takes place on Tuesday 13th April at Curborough (near Lichfield, Staffs). This is for all paid up members and Milton Holland is co-ordinating entries. Once again we are having to make a charge of £25 per driver (£30 for non members), owing to the increase in hire costs, insurance costs etc. All you have to do is turn up, sign on, go through a simple safety check, and go out and have fun. To get to Curborough, you arrive via the A38 to the Fradley turnoff going towards Fradley Industrial Park, go on through and past the industrial bit on an unclassified road to arrive to the sign for Curborough Sprint course (the entrance is on the left hand side). 1) This event is generally open to members only (non members by arrangement), membership numbers must be given and membership cards presented at signing on. Only 25 cars can be accepted. 2) You will be required to sign an indemnity, absolving the Club, the organiser or the circuit owners from any responsibility for any incident. 3) The circuit is all tarmac with good run off areas. 4) When driving alone helmets are not mandatory but are recommended. 5) If passengers are carried, helmets are mandatory, for all passengers. 6) Batteries must be securely fixed. This and the condition of your tyres, will be checked prior to going out on the track. 7) All loose items must be removed from the car, all other safety is up to you. 8) Alpines are preferred but if yours is off the road at the time, don’t miss out come along have a go and join the fun.
